Trahern Kennels is a small select kennel.  We only run on very small numbers here as we find that is easier for us to manage.  But from time to time we put some of our promising dogs into family homes where we can still put their valuable pedigree back into our breeding program (if and when required this might mean a handful of times or none at all).  This is only done with reliable homes, who understand this is for the future of the breed and not greed.  Breeders don't want to be keeping an extra 10 dogs for perhaps a couple of matings, in their home when they can live perfectly happy lives in family homes and yet still contribute to the future of the breed if and when required. 

Special thanks goes to the Rich family who own Brasshead Hot Buttered (ai) (who I co-own with Kerry King of Brasshead Kennels) who gives them pleasure and joy and yet still has contributed to the gene pool for the Bull Terrier breed and our kennels.

Go to PUPPIES page to view the information contained.  We ask that you please visit this page before sending us an email as many of your questions are going to be there.  Plus we have a brief questionnaire that we would like for you to answer and send to us.  This questionnaire is purely for us to know a bit about you.  If you do not like to answer these simple questions then please don't ask us for our puppies.  We DO CARE about our puppies and who ends up with them.  Those questions are so we know which and if our puppies are right for you.

Occasionally we do have older puppies or adults for sale/give away or on breeders terms (click here to view what breeders terms are).  We sometimes have retired adults for free. These are the dogs that we feel have contributed to a breeding programme and are now ready to retire and live on someone's couch and get that one on one attention.
